totally remove office 2000 professional from my PC

The Email (Outlook) aspect of my Office 2000 has changed from what it used to
be. For example, I used to be able to tell how many emails were on the server
- that was at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. This is now changed
to a graphic which appears in the centre of the screen with mail being
"flown" from a globe to an inbox. Also, when I send an email to an indivual
the following appears in the "To" "CC" and "Bcc" line [E-mail]. Thirdly, I
used to be able to click on "Tools" and get "Accounts" - this is now changed
to "Services". I'm not aware of any changes that I made to Outlook. I've
tried re-installing Office 2000 professional but that didn't solve the
problem. I've checked on a total removal of Office 2000 so that I could
reinstall from the Original CD's but it reads like very technical "stuff".
If anyone can help on this I would be expremely grateful. Many thanks.

You most certainly did make a change. You changed from Internet Mail Only
support mode to Corporate/Workgroup. That could not happen without the user
deliberately making that change.
For information on choosing a mail support mode or changing to the other
mail support mode, look here:

The problems I was having with Outlook Professional are not sorted out. Many
thanks for your assistance on that. However, I now have another problem
which I am unable to resolve. Perhaps you would be kind enough to help if
you can.
The "Send and Receive" button is "Missing" from my Outlook. I've three
mails waiting to go out but they will not budge. I've checked the POP and
SMTP settings as well as all other settings and they are as they should be.
Your assistance if you can give it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

How about connecting the dots here for me?
How did you "sort out" your problems and which version and mail support mode
are you now using? How did you configure your mail accounts?
