track daily sales

I would like to be able to track my employees running sales figures on a
daily basis and have a form (or something) that indicates the difference of
each employee's numbers against the highest one. For instance:

Date Employee Sales Difference
----------------------------------------------------------------
5/2/05 Debbie R. 505 0
5/2/05 Tim J. 350 155
5/2/05 Matt F. 200 305
etc.

If anyone can help, or offer a similar scenario, please advise, ASAP. Thank
you very much.

Type an expression such as this into the Field row of your query:
Difference: (Select Max(Sales) FROM tblSales AS Dupe WHERE (Dupe.Date =
tblSales.Date)) - [Sales]

Results will be read only. if you don't like that you could use DMax()
instead of a subquery.

If subqueries are new, this is Microsoft's introduction:
How to Create and Use Subqueries
