Hello,

Using word 2000 and/or 2003. My son is 15. They are outlining chapters for
science. The teacher will not let them do it on the computer because she
said the kids e-mail it to each other instead of doing their own. Is there
any way to prove that a person did in fact type the outline themselves?

Thanks,
Linda

No, there isn't. (And if anyone can figure out how to get around
Word's feeble security, it's 15-year-olds.) About the only thing I
could think of is a sworn and notarized statement from you -- hardly
worth the trouble.

Speaking as an ex-teacher, I would not expect a notarized statement from a
normal parent to be strong evidence... And perhaps a more interesting
assignment would be to defeat the security
