I frequently have to save emails for various reasons and have wondered if
there is a way to assign a munber (automatically or manually) to each email i
generate that when a reply is issued it creates a decimal suffix (ie:
2007.11.20/001.1 where 2007.11.20 = is the date; 001 =1st message of that
day; and .1 is the 1st reply, .2 is the 2nd reply and so on.) Currently i
can only save the emails as .msg or .txt files using the subject line as the
file name which often times is not unique to any one piece of email per day.
