Training Junk E-Mail filter

Other then adding an email address or domain to blocked or allow list, how do you train the Junk e-mail filter to recognize new SPAM? I move the uncaught SPAM the Junk E-mail folder, but I do not know if this is training it or not. (T)Hank(s)

Outlook's junk mail filter has no training component other than the white
and black lists.

Outlook's junk mail filter has no training component other than the
white and black lists.

It would seem to be fairly useless, then. Especially since the spammers
could reverse-engineer how it works, and guarantee their spams will get
into every Outlook 2003 inbox on the planet!

The ability to "train" an email filter seems to be a critical element in
whether or not it's effective. I switched to Outlook 2003, myself, based
on the promise of better spam filtering ... but have found it to be a
waste of time and money.

If I may ask ... how is Outlook 2003's spam filtering any better than
past spam filters, if it cannot be trained?
