Transfering/Importing

I have been using Outlook Express on my desktop computer. I am now switching
to Entourage on my laptop. How do I get everything moved over? I need
contacts as well as all of the e-mails.

Also, how do I get my Mac to read my iPaq PDA, so I can sync it with
Entourage?

Thanks.

Entourage has Import for OE mail. Just copy the data over to your new
computer. The importer does not like it on a secondary source.

Be sure to clean it up first. Deleting any unnecessary stuff. Complex HTML
messages can to be corrupt and cause an import to fail. You might consider
archiving or deleting this type if you have problems. Wouldn't hurt to
rebuild your database too.

See the Install page and Get Started for help:

Where do I find the data to copy it over?
Thank you very much for your help!

I don't have OS 9 installed now so bear with me...

Your OE mail should be in the Microsoft User Data folder inside your
Documents folder or in the OE folder itself.

Do a search for Identities. This should tell you where it is located. If you
can't find it that way, open up OE, create a new identity and name it
something unusual so only this word will show up in Find. Now search for
that word. It will tell you where OE is storing it's mail.

Be sure to drag over the entire Identity folder.

Let me know if you still have trouble locating it.
