Transfering messages to Inbox

Kris

I am running Entourage 2004 on Tiger(OS X) connecting to exchange. I
would like to move email messages from the local inbox (the "Folders on
My Computer" inbox) to the Exchange account Inbox. How do I transfer
these emails without entourage automatically changing the date/time?

When I move the messages by dragging them into the Exchange inbox all
the messages change the date/time to the current time. Example: if I
drag two emails that are dated "last Friday at 3:30pm" from the
"Folders on My Computer" inbox into the Exchange inbox, the messages
appear in the Inbox listing the date/time as Today with the current
time.

How do I transfer these emails without entourage automatically changing
the date/time?

Thanks

If you display Sent time rather than Received time, you'll get what you
want. I know that in the current version that's not possible with Preview
pane on Right (the default), but if it's important to you switch to
View/Preview Pane below, and then View/Columns/Sent to see the Sent time.
