transferred excel worksheet to powerpoint and making it legible

I was given an A3 sized worksheet to transfer to a presentation, the options
I tried were:
* Copy spreadsheet > go to PP > Edit > Paste Special > Paste Link
* as above > Paste > as picture
* as first option > right click mouse > ungroup > edit point size - that
last one got messy.
Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.
