Tri-Fold Brochure

A

Using 2003 I am having a lot of trouble getting everything lined up
correctly so that I can take our brochures to OfficeMax, OfficeDepot or
Kinko's for folding. My boss is a stickler for having everything "squared
up" so that the brochures look like they came from a commercial printer. If
the first panel isn't perfectly centered left & right, top & bottom he just
says "take it back and make them square it up".

Our Epson 860 is fine, I just can't seem to get everything layed out the way
OfficeMax, OfficeDepot or Kinko's wants it so that my boss will "approve"
it.

I have made so many trips everyone knows me by my first name. Please help.

Are Kinko's printing it, copying it, or just folding it?

You need to make sure that the columns are of equal size. For example, if
(to make things easier), your page is 30cm long, then each column needs to
be 10cm wide, otherwise, it won't fold.
Now, this shouldn't be a problem, but if your printer reduces the size of
the print slightly and you don't trim off the excess (or adds margins by
cutting off areas and you cut the whitespace off), then the columns will be
of inequal size, and the booklet won't fold.
You will need either to be able to print borderless, or to reduce the size
of the publication.
