Hello Newsgroup

I have installed MS Entourage 2004 and want to use the IMAP SSL (993) Port

But Entourage says, that i have no valid certificate installed, but that is
not true because i have it installed in apples Keychain, and apple Mail
works perfect with it. Also works with Mozilla Thunderbird.

Whats Wrong?

MAC OS 10.4.2

Has someone some hints for me?

Best regards

I didn't think Thunderbird used Apple's security code or X509Anchors
keychain?

Sorry! It is certainly odd that Mail works and Entourage doesn't.

Cheers,

Did you try importing the certificate into the Microsoft Cert Manager,
located in /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Microsoft Cert
Manager?

Ultimately, your the self-signed certificate (root cert) needs to be in your
X509Anchors keychain or MacBU apps will not trust it. On 10.4.2, if you
double click a .cer file, the Keychain Access program will offer to import
the certificate; you just need to make sure to choose the X509Anchors
location.

The Microsoft Cert Manager will put it in the right place.
