Trouble Launching Microsoft Outlook

I have been utilizing Outlook Express for email purposes
and recently updated the program. Now I have a need to
utilize Outlook 2000 for calendar purposes and I'm getting
the following message when I attempt to launch Outlook
2000.

Network problems are preventing connection to the
Microsoft Exchange Server Computer.

What can I do to get Outlook 2000 to work?
