Trouble moving collapsed emails

One of the great things about the entourage interface is that you can
collapse emails by subject. I subscribe to A LOT of listservs and so it's
nice to be able to view incoming emails this way.

My problem is that if I collapse my inbox (by subject) and then attempt to
move multiple collapsed headings to a folder entourage spins wildly and I
have to forcequit it.

I can delete emails this way but attempting to move them results in this
behaviour.

Connection is to a notes server (YECH) via imap.

If anyone has any ideas I'd much appreciate it.

Dan.

Are you using "move" or are you dragging?

Side note: you are aware that you can set up Rules to direct each incoming
listserv message to a specific folder automatically? This might work around
that problem, as then the messages will never be in your inbox--depending on
the level of sorting you are doing, of course, this may not apply. I also
am on a lot of listservs and find it very handy to be able to just browse
each folder when I feel like it instead of having messages in my inbox.

Apologies for not responding since you were so kind as to respond to my post
but ...

I was talking about using the 'move to' button as dragging doesn't seem to
be enabled in this case anyways.

Long story short it was yet again another problem with the Lotus Notes
server to which I was attaching and it not adhering to imap standards.

But I'm a happy camper now anyways - we now have an exchange 2003 server to
which I can forward all my Lotus mail and it's working quite well (surprise
surprise)...

Thanks anyways Diane.
