Lately I've been having trouble receiving mail, from my office's mail
server, when connecting from my home. Certain items begin to download but
then hang after I've received 1-2K. The Progress box doesn't time out and
shows something like "Completed 2 of 63kB" until I manually stop the
process. The problem messages seem to be ones that include a fair amount of
HTML (including links on-line content) but not all messages that contain
HTML cause the problem.
I can receive the messages ok when I'm at the office and connected to LAN. I
can also receive the messages, at home, using a PC with Outlook.
I've tried various combinations of the Entourage preferences for Displaying
HTML in messages and Allowing Network access when displaying complex HTML.
Any insights would be appreciated - I've been using the same setup for a
long time and he problem has only started recently.
I'm using:
Mac OSX 10.3.4
Entourage 10.1.4
