Trouble with merging to Word

I have percents and dollar amounts in a spreadsheet that are merging t
Word funny....25% is coming out as "2.5000000000000001E-3", also on th
dollar amounts, they are not coming through with the commas and dolla
sign....ie $40,400 is coming through as 40400...even though I formatte
the cell to show Percent and Currancy...any thoughts on this?

Near as I can tell, this is a common problem - you should have been able to
find the answer yourself by now.
