Trouble with Send after Outlook Connector was installed

Hi there,
I am running XP w/Office Pro 2003, I just changed my POP hotmail account to
Outlook Connector, and then deleted the POP and now when I create a message
in outlook it doesn't automatically save it to my sent items folder in
outlook. It is saved on my hotmail account, but it was automatically saved
into my outook before?
