When I send an e-mail on my Outlook XP(2002) to a non-existent address on my
school domain, I immediately get an error message back from the server
telling me.
On Outlook 2000 no error message comes back, and the messages gets stuck in
the Outbox, and keeps on re-sending every time Send/Receive is clicked until
the sender realises.
Why do the two version behave differently? I can't find the settings to
change the behaviour.
Any thoughts?
