Trying to get Outlook to be default Email

I'm trying to export my list of contacts to print mailing lables. However when I try to do that with my Excel program it says I need to set Outlook Express as my default address. When I try to do that in Outlook (under tools, options) it's not even an option since it's not "highlighted" to change.

I find that hard to believe. Excel is asing you to set Outlook Express as
your default for a mail merge? Impossible. Outlook Express does not even
support mail merges.
