turining off windows messages in vba

I keep getting a message which when i copy to clipbourd that the amount I am
copying is too large and do I wish to continue. when i click ok it continues
is there anyway of switching these messages off in VBA other than using a
error trap to do it.

i thought i had read somewhere in the diatant past this was possible can
anyone help with this please.

Application.DisplayAlerts = False
