turn off date update

A

Art

I inserted a chart and entered dates on the presentation datasheet and it
adds the weekend dates that I do not want in the sheet.
I enter the below in the datasheet
07/06/06 07/07/06 07/10/06 07/11/06
When I press pf5 to view the presentation I also get the weekend dates that
I don’t need.
07/08/06 & 07/09/06.
Is it possible to turn off the auto update ?

This is a bit strange, but ... hey ... why not, you know?

Go back to the Excel sheet where the data was pulled from. Change the
spreadsheet's cell format (for the date cells) to 'Text' instead of 'Date'.
Of course you will need to re-insert the chart, but that is fairly minor. I
seem to remember this will do the trick
