Two Junk Folders for Entourage Exchange Account; How Can I DeleteOne?

L

Two junk folders appear under my Exchange folder in Entourage. I would
like to delete one, but am unable to do so.

When I highlight the Exchange folder to see all folders in the right-
hand panel, then highlight either one of the junk folders, the delete
trash can is not active.

How can I delete one of the junk folders that appear under the
Exchange folder?

When I highlight the Exchange folder to see all folders in the right-
hand panel, then highlight either one of the junk folders, the delete
trash can is not active.

I also have two - one is called Junk E-mail and is created by Entourage (it
has a custom icon to it), and cannot be deleted.

The other is called Spam Mail and is created by my Exchange server.

I cannot delete the Entourage-created folder, which I assume is intentional.
I /am/ able to delete the one created by my Exchange server, but it gets
periodically re-created by the server. It, and a few other unnecessary
folders get sorted to the bottom of the list and I've learned to live with
it.

Are you saying that both of your folders have the exact same name, or is
there a (subtle) difference? Does one have a special icon and one not?

If you are in a situation similar to mine, except your Exchange server is
configured not to let you delete their folder, you may be out of luck. You
may want to check with your Exchange administrator. You can also try logging
into OWA or Outlook and deleting one of the folders.

Both are identical, one directly above the other in Entourage.

There is only one Junk Mail folder showing with OWA access.

Re-building the database corrected the problem; now there is only one Junk
folder.

Thanks!
