Type or keyboard setting

How do I retutrn to normal typing settings? I must have hit some key
combination that now inserts the wrong letters for those I type on the key
board e.g. type r shows as "d"

Help??

BTW using different 'puter to input here..

Could be a defective or dirty keyboard. Look up keyboard problems in Windows
Help for some suggestions. (One is to swap keyboards to see if it does it on
a different computer.)
