Typing a powerpoint presentation

How do I type a powerpoint presentation. I have never done this before. Any help would be appreciated.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? I was all set to send you to
View/Outline, but some versions of PPT access the outline in different ways.
