typing takes a few seconds to print in power point. How can I cha.

I am in power point. I can not get the typing to respond right away. I have
to wait for a few seconds before I see the print

Do you have a printer driver installed and set as the default printer? PPT
needs that, even if you don't really have a printer attached to your
computer.

Sorry I should of explained better. When I type a letter with my keyboard it
types the first few letters then I have to wait a few seconds before I see it
in power point. I can continue to write and gradually it will appear on the
screen but not right away. Then some times it will tell me to wait before I
can print more. This is only in power point. If you can help me this will be

60 day few trial. I them purcahsed the "Student and Teacher Edition 2003", I
started to have problems after this. Could it be the installation

some updates. It is now responding better but not perfect. I will just keep
trying. Thanks. it is very fustrating

Thanks Steve for your help as I told Echo I did get some improvement by
uninstalling and installing again. I also down loaded some updates. I will
just keep trying.

out... I have always worked in power point and never had this problem So much
for upgrading...

Hm. Turned hardware acceleration down? How to set graphics hardware
acceleration back
