Unable to change value axis in PowerPoint.

E

Elaine Arias

Hi. Please forgive me for asking such a dumb, asinine question.

I am creating a chart for a big presentation. It is supposed to be a bar
graph representing sales projections and revenues over five years. I have
been trying to change the z axis (value axis) to reflect millions. I tried
everything under the sun to change it, but it keeps reflecting zeros.

I've spent the past hour trying in vain to find any possible way by looking
on the Internet, calling everyone I know to help and I cannot figure this out
at all.

If anyone knows how to create graphs on PowerPoint, please call me at
503-473-3279. Or (e-mail address removed).

Elaine

PS I am desperate for an answer, that is why I posted my phone number.

Hi Elaine,

You may want to post this in the Powerpoint newsgroup
(link below) and include the version of Powerpoint you're using.

Generally the 'z' axis would be the 'depth' (3d) one.
'X' is the one that runs horizontally, 'Y' the vertical axis.

It's not clear from your description if you're looking to
change the values in the graph spreadsheet or the labels.
In the latter case you may have run into this one
