Unable to connect to exchange server after repairing Win2K Pro

A user needed her Win 2000 repaired after installing a
patch. After the repair I was unable to connect to the
exchange server. I am able to ping the exchange server
for her but not connect through Outlook 2000. I have
attempted to uninstall and reinstall numerous times but
have failed. Anyone got an idea?

Assume you can ping by name ie. is it resolved ? Try
putting in LMHOSTS anyway. Is there a firewall ? Can the
server ping the machine by name ? Try adding the Exchange
server again as a service ie. reconfigure. Re-install
Outlook.

Just a few ideas in hope to trigger a solution

uninstall patch.
error messages?
can you telnet thru Exchange ports ( port 135 especially )
