Unable to connect to Microsoft Exchange

I have a powerbook g4, and Entourage 2004, but I am unable to connect
to a Microsoft Exchange server. We have a small company and use an
outsourced provider, so the server is not in house.

I keep getting a message that says that Entourage was unable to
connect, and then says that my server information is incorrect, even
though I have confirmed it with the exchange tech people multiple
times. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Entourage 2004 uses WebDAV to get the e-mails (and the rest).
If the server has Outllok Web Access (webmail) enabled, then you can
simply connect to it through your web browser, copy the URL once you
have connected and use it as your Exchange server address in the
Exchange account in Entourage.
I should add that I am using an smtp address for the exchange server.

The SMTP address ??? That's weird... That might be the problem. Actually
Entourage even sends the e-mails through WebDAV. It doesn't use any SMTP
server.
