Unable to delete a messaeg in my outbox that has begun transmittin

I am using Outlook with hotmail. I sent an email with 11MG of attachments
and the email would never fully transmit, i.e. it would not leave my OUTBOX.
Always said "processing". I have tried continually to delete it with no
success. Outlook just tells me it is unable to delete the message because it
has already begun transmitting. Now I can't even use Outlook to email
because I can't get rid of this message and it prevents the other messages
from being sent or received. HELP!

Couple of thoughts -

Have you tried logging on directly to Hotmail to see if the message is
"stuck" there somewhere - may be deletable there.

Do you back up Outlook? If so, back up to before creating the offending
message.

Try "shift+delete" - misses out the Delete Folder but may not help.
