Unable to enter data, page appears locked, Full version not beta

Hi there wonder if someone can help.
Office 2007 basic installed and all was working well. All fully installed
activated and working 100% fine till the other day

When opening excel or word I can view documents but not edit or create new
ones. I figured that this is something to do with activation, so I tried to
re activate but clicking the activation button does nothing.

Uninstalled, re installed with the same product key and the same problem.
Its not a beta verison or a trial like I say so any suggestions are welcomed.
I cant even reply to emails at the moment :-(

Not quite with you here on this one. If i try and do an activation in excel
or word, clicking the activation button does nothing what so ever. Doesn't
bring up the box for the product key because I entered it during installation.

Am at a bit of a loss at the moment :-( Like I said earlier, just to re
iterate that I have a valid and completely legit product key.

But the application has not accepted the key and the period of 'grace' has
expired. The only way to unlock it is to telephone the MS subsidiary near
you and they will be able, after a few questions, to issue a special code to
unlock it
