I have done the following:
1) deleted all local profiles on the machine
2) deleted all data locations stored by outlook
3) deleted all profiles stored by outlook
4) deleted the default mail location in outlook
5) unchecked tcp/ip in network settings and rebooted.
checked them again and rebooted.
When I launch Outlook from scratch it asks me to name the
profile. Then it goes into the normal "add new email
account" wizard. As soon as I type in our exchange
server name it has a pop up window that asks for a
username, password and domain. I click "cancel" on this
(though supplying the correct information doesn't work
either). I then change the mail delivery location
to "mailbox - username" and I get an error that the
machine cannot connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server.
we use roaming profiles and the teacher is able to access
her email on any number of other machines. I am also
unable to access my email on her machine.
