Unable to open entourage savded database

My 3 year old iMac just crashed and I have been able to export my Entourage database to my MacBook Pro (in Target Boot Mode) but I can't get my transferred database recognised by my MacBook Pro.......

Any hints?

Make sure that you copy over the entire identity folder within
iMac/Users/<Your User>/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities,
and copy it to the corresponding location on the MacBook Pro. Then, on the
MacBook Pro, launch Entourage. If your identity does not appear, go to
Entourage > Switch Identity, and re-select the identity you copied over.

If that doesn't work, maybe the "crash" on your iMac affected your hard
drive and is making the data inaccessible even by target disk mode.
