When opening an Excel file, the office assistant comes up with an error
message "unable to read file".
I was using the file till earlier in the day, when I started getting an
error that roughly said "Not enough memory" (Dont quite remember the exact
message). I tried "save"ing the file, Excel wouldn't allow me to, so I
decided to come out & restart, but then it started coming up with this unable
to read file message.
On the net, there seem to be other unfortunates who have run into similar
issues, but I couldn't find any of the posts with a workaround or solution.
I'm resigned to losing some fairly important data in the worksheet, but maybe
some brilliant soul has figured out a way around it.....
