Unable to receive hotmail from friends

Hi,
I'm new to Mac so be gentle. My brother usues a PC and hotmail to send and receive mail. He can receive my mail but I do not receive his responses using either Mail or Entourage. He has succesfully sent and received hotmail to my wife's PC using Vista and Windows Mail.

Please help?

That's not something Entourage would be doing.
I suspect hotmail is blacklisted from your ISP. THey are the ones
filtering the e-mails and preventing them from getting to you.
The fact that Mail fails to display the e-mails as well confirms this,

I checked with my ISP and they deny that they filter hotmail. Further, I was finally able to receive email from a friend after initiating a send and receive using webmail. After this I was able to use entourage to receive his mail but still have had no success with receiving hotmail from my brother.
Any thoughts?

Could his ISP be black listed? If he sends from another email address can
you receive that?
