I have posted before and all suggestions do not work. I have one PC that
cannot save in any format but the traditional (Word, Works, RTF, TXT). I have
to date:
1. Installed the converter pack.
2. Copied the WP converter (WPFT523) from a working PC to the non working one.
3. Copied the WP converter (WPFT523) from Office XP to the non working one.
4. Modify install of Office to "Install Everything"
5. Do a install repair.
6. Uninstall and reinstall Word.
7. Uninstall and reinstall Office 03
8. Change Options, Compatibilty to Word 02, 00, WP 5, whatever, no change
9. Modify install to No Converters, change back to full.
10. Uninstall Office 03 and return it to MS and install the free Open Office
(just kidding)
Not only can we not save in any format other than the typical but in the
Options, Save tab WP is not an option either. I would add when I removed ALL
converters we could still save in Works and older Word which seems weird.
