Unable to see exchange address book from Entourage 2004

I utilize Entourage 2004 to access my companies exchange server. I'm
accessing the system however, remotely, with the outlook web access
address as the server address. Everything seems to work correctly
except scheduling and address book. My calendar events are posted to
the exchange server, and my co-workers can see my schedule. However,
when I attempt to schedule something I get no information for
availability (grey bar). Additionally, I am getting none of the
contacts from the exchange address book. I've been searching
usergroups and google for the last few days and have found no one in
the same situation as I (accessing exchange through OWA). Does anyone
have any ideas.

You mean the global address list (GAL) or your own address book for your
exchange account??


If you mean the GAL, Entourage accesses the GAL through LDAP. LDAP needs
to be active on the server and you need to enter the proper parameters
for your account.

On some cases, the LDAP access is only open from the local network (ei:
you can access it from work, but not from home).

Be sure you have a Public Folder server entered in Exchange account
(advanced tab). It's used for retrieving free/busy from Exchange.
