Unable to send email

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Email was working fine until I tried to send email with a large attachment and it wouldn't send so I deleted it from the Outbox. Tried to send again with a smaller attachment and it still wouldn't send. Now am unable to send email with no attachment and the Outbox only has the last email in it. Is there something else that needs to be cleared to get this working again?

If you open the email in the Outbox, can you click on Send? If that does not
work, copy the contents into a new email and try to send. Delete the message
that does not send.

Have you quit Entourage and restarted?
