Unable to send & receive - Outlook

Have Windows XP running with Office 2000. Outlook was
running fine, then it stopped sending / receiving, unless
there was an active internet connection. Error
message "The server could not be found. (Accountop3
server etc....error code 0x800ccc0d)

I have tried the various suggestions without good effect.
I have tried disabling Norton Anti Virus and Firewall
Protection to no avail.

Anyone any suggestions?

Have you tried updating the NAV and NIS clients?

Also, are you connected by dial-up or broadband?

Use ADSL. Not sure what you mean re updating clients?
Have tried disabling Norton completely!
