Hi,
I am sending an HTML file which includes this line
<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=windows-1252"><DIV class=Section1>
to set the character set to Windows. This is now necessary
for Outlook 2003 to use the correct character set. It is
not an issue with Outlook 2000. It appears that the SMTP
send command or Outlook 2003 is stripping this line out of
the message as it does not show when I view the source of
the received message and special characters like (tm) ro
(r) show as a box character. Is there a restriction in
SMTP?
TIA,
Dennis
