Unable to the Exchange connectivity working

Hi there,

After several attempts to find a combination of configuration setting that
would get access to my exchange server from the new Entourage, I mostly
succeeded. I'm running A Powerbook G4, with OS 10.2.4, and Entourage 10.1.4.

I was able to download all of the folders in my exchange account
All of the email eventually synchronized
New mail arrives (and the new sound chimes)
I can read new mail, and it will reflect as read (on my PC sitting beside it
too)
When I compose and try to send a message, I get the following error message:
Mail could not be sent using the account "******** - Exchange Account."
"connection failure occurred"
Error -3260

Ideas? Suggestions? What can I change that would allow it to work correctly.

Check all of your SMTP settings. The server address (not necessarily the
same as your Exchange server; check with your admin), and also the
authentication setting.

My guess is that you didn't set up the SMTP server properly. This
setting is requred to send e-mail. You should check it or see whether
you can use another SMTP server.
