Unable to upload a word doc that contains JPG's

I have a system server stall when I try to send an attachment (from Word
2000) in Win XP/OE6, and I am also unable to upload it from 2 other
webmail servers?

Currently no Anti-virus (disabled for the purpose)

A regular Word 2000 (with no Jpg) email attachment sending or upload is
fine


Any ideas?
