Unable to view pictures in email

I can't view pics in my emails using Entourage 2001. I see boxes with red
dots crossed out.

Can someone tell me if this is a setting problem or do I lack viewing
software?

Try increasing the memory allocation for Entourage in the Get Info Box in
the Finder. That might help.
