Uncontrolable Powerpoint!

For some reason I downloaded Powerpoint (Presentation1). Now everytime I
try to download a file of any type (Text, graphic) Powerpoint hyjacks it
and spews out jibberish. I deleted it from the C drive and out of trash
but it still activates How can I rid my computer of the pest?

You need to uninstall PPT. Deleting the files won't do the trick. Try using
Add/Remove software in your Windows Control Panel.

That said, if you downloaded something called "Presentation1," I doubt that
it's PowerPoint you downloaded.
