OK, people, I'm really scratching my head on this one. Per recommendation
found on other discussion boards, I checked my MDAC version, it's 2.7 SP1,
clearly better than the 2.5 required for this function to be available.
I've got a FP custom query in which I'm using a bunch of string functions:
Instr, Left, Mid, etc. They all work fine EXCEPT InstrRev, which generates
the error message in the subject of this posting. I can change InstrRev to
Instr and have the query be accepted as well-formed, but that doesn't help
me do what I need to do. Anyone run into this one before? If I need to fix
MDAC somehow, how do I go about that?
