Undeliverable message when sending to Routing Recipients

An originator/author of an Excel doc creates a routing
list and sends the doc. This originator is on Exchange
5.5. The recipient is on Exchange 2000. The recipient
receives the Excel doc, but when he tries to route it to
the next recipient on the Excel routing list,and said next
recipient is on Exchange 5.5, He receives
an "Undeliverable" message. If the next routing recipient
is on Exchange 2000, the routing is successful. This
started happening after the recipient was migrated from
Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000. I have removed and re-
installed Excel, no change. Also
