underline heading number

I am using MSWord 2000. I am using styles for the heading numbers above
paragraphs, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc. Is there a way to have 1.1 underlined?

Hi yepp

Yes, you can underline the number. Follow the instructions at http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html. When
you get to the Customize Outline Numbered List dialog box, click the Font button. You can choose your underlining there.
