I'm not sure if this is the right group for this question, but here goes:
Is there a any way to adjust the position of the underscore in Word. It
runs too close to the text and cuts through the descenders which in my view
gives a poor typographic appearance. WordPerfect 5.1 had the ability to
modify the print program & lower the underscore. Is there a way to do this
in Word? I've tried all possible solutions and none are satisfactory. I
thought perhaps there's a registry change that might work.
Appreciate any advice offered.
