I use Entourage with an Exchange 2000 server.
Entourage stopped responding this morning when I started it up. I have
had to do a full rebuild of the database.
Now when I download my mail, it stops with about 500 messages to
download with the following error:
Mail could not be received at this time.
Unexpected data was encountered.
Error: -17997
I am guessing that this means there is a corrupt message in my inbox.
Is there a way that I can find out which message is corrupt so that I
can delete it in webmail? (it is not displaying the subject in the
Progress window).
I have had this problem before and ended up having to delete half my
messages. I can't do that this time as I have some critical emails
that I need to keep. I don't want to have to go through webmail
sorting everything out.
Perhaps there is a setting to skip corrupt messages or something, and
not halt the whole download?
Thanks,
Kim
