Uninstall OP 95

PamelaT7

How can I uninstall Office Professional 95 without the setup disk? Can I
download the necessary file(s) from somewhere? Original installation was
from a bunch of floppys and Disk 1 has disappeared.

Have you tried Add/Remove? I don't recall Office 95 requiring the disk to
uninstall.

Yes. I went to My Computer/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs, Clicked on
Microsoft Office Professional then hit the "Add/Remove" button to uninstall.

A window pops up that says "Please insert your Microsoft Office
Professional 95 Disk 1". I don't have it.

Can I get a copy of a file just to uninstall this program from somewhere or
is there another way to get rid of it. It occurs to me that deleting in from
C: is probably a bad idea...

Hi Pamela,

Generally, if you're installing a newer version
of Office it can remove the older one, but
see if the information in these articles help
with manually removing Office 95.
