Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

I purchased a FULL VERSION of the new OFFICE 2008. I have copied all contacts and messages from ENTOURAGE X to the NEW 2008 version. I want to completely delete the old version (OFFICE X) from the system at this point. What steps do I need to take to do this without disrupting the new OFFICE 2008 which works great. I want to make sure I get all of the files off the system. Thank you!

I believe the installer offers you this option near the end of the
installation process. Otherwise, try the Office uninstaller bundled with
Office 2008.

Oddly, the UNINSTALL option was available early in the OFFICE 2008 install process - not at the end of the install. I was concerned with deleting the messages and contacts in OFFICE X so I by-passed the uninstall. I'll take a look at the disk and see if there is a post installation option.

You did the right thing in waiting until you were setup. Many Entourage X
users have been unable to get their data imported and had to go back and
reinstall Office X.

Use "Remove Office" found here:

/Application/Microsoft Office 2008/Additional Tools/Remove Office.
