Unknown error 4362 occurs

Can anyone give me advice on how to delete a spam piece of mail from my
deleted folder? When I try to do this I get "unknown error 4362 occurs" It
feels like an invasive piece of spam that won't delete. I've never had this
issue before. Any help please?

If I had this problem, I would try rebuilding the database. Quit Entourage,
then hold down the option key while relaunching. That will launch the
Database Utility, which will allow you to verify, compact, or rebuild your
database. Note that rebuilding your database in E2004 (you didn't say what
version you're using) will lose all your information about personal folders
on IMAP accounts as well as read/unread information on IMAP and newsgroup
accounts.

Although the Database Utility makes a backup of your Identity, many of the
MVPs in this newsgroup recommend saving a copy of of your Identity folder
before rebuilding, just in case.
