Unknown error -50 when syncing hotmail folders with entourage 2004

Every so often - and more regularly for some folders - I can the following
error message:

Error
An unknown error (-50) occurred.

Explanation
Could not retrieve mail.

Has anyone see this problem with Hotmail and if so - who did you resolve it?

Some background information:

1. I'm an MSN Premium customer so I guess that means I have a 'paid for'
hotmail account
2. This problem only happens if my hotmail folders have not downloaded all
the messages from the email servers. For example, if I have two folders
titled Work and Personal and for each folder I have 100 messages - then this
error message occurs when trying to download the 100 messages for the first
time.
3. For some folders this error does not go away, i.e. it happens each and
every time I try to update the folder and as such all the messages have not
been downloaded as yet.
4. I've tried performing the database repair - didn't help - and I even
created a brand new identity and started from 'scratch' - still occurs.
5. I'm using Entourage 2004 version 11.2.5 and Mac OS 10.4.8 and I have the
latest OS and Office 2004 patches installed.
